Abstract A manga textbook with narrative approach provides knowledge to learners, as well as encourages their awareness. However, it is difficult to measure learners’ ability in awareness. We propose a character centric method of finding for their awareness in the textbook by composing personas to be analyzed by conjoint analysis method. This paper reports our experiments considering the feasibility of this approach.
