アブストラクト
Disaster warning system is a vital tool that can save a large number of people from natural disasters. This research objective is to understand the sketch of the warning system. In this initial phase of the study, Japan’s disaster warning system has been selected. The essence of the system was analyzed by Design and Engineering Methodology for Organizations (DEMO). The document data collection and face-to-face interview have been conducted during May-July 2013 in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The findings show some significant points which can be learned by researchers and policy makers in other developing countries to establish or improve their warning systems.
