This paper discusses an exact linearization problem of two-input affine systems via dyanmic extension based on relative degree structure. First, this paper focuses on 1-degree dynamic extension as one of the class of dynamic extension methods. We next propose a necessary and sufficient condition for two-input systems to be exactly linearizable via 1-degree dynamic extension. Finally, we show an example to demonstrate the proposed theory.
