アブストラクト The optical emission spectroscopic measurement is conducted to obtain the electron temperature and density of atmospheric-pressure non-equilibrium argon plasma, which is generated with dielectric barrier discharge. The continuum emission is analyzed as e-a Bremsstrahlung which becomes essential in the atmospheric-pressure plasma. The spectrum is theoretically fitted well with the assumption of Druyvesteynian EEDF, while Maxwellian one gives poor results. It is found that the effective electron temperature and its density of the DBD argon plasma are about ~ 0.8 eV and ~ 10^{14} cm^{–3}, respectively. The obtained results are found to be almost the same with the values determined with line-intensity analysis assisted with the CR model. Potential applications of continuum analysis is discussed to find the EEDF.
