The friction coefficient of elastic sliding bearings has velocity-dependence. Since this dependence is particularly strong in the low velocity range, it is important to consider this dependence when designing structures for low-velocity responses, such as wind-induced vibrations. Previous studies proposed simulation models that simulate high friction elastic sliding bearings in the low velocity range. However, this model leaves issues of low simulation accuracy and restrict conditions. In this study, we propose a new algorithm for elastic sliding bearings to improve the calculation accuracy.
