This paper investigates the sensitivity of Bilinear, Ramberg-Osgood and Bouc-Wen hysteretic model parameters and its influence on the maximum and residual displacement response of a Single-Degree-of-Freedom system under recorded seismic waves. Sobol global sensitivity analysis is used to uniformly sample the parameters and quantify their influence. The results show that the structural period is the most important parameter for all models. However, for residual displacements in Bouc-Wen model, other parameters such as post-yielding stiffness and degradation also have significant effects.
