Data Input Support Functions for Multiple Usages of the Registered Data

• System provides effective applications of the information from Tokyo Tech Portal.
  T2R2 system is connected with the Campus Certification/Authorization system of TokyoTech, so users can use the system by the personal certification with their TokyoTech IC cards.
• Data management is based on each registered publication. Therefore, the co-written work can be shared by all the co-authors if anyone of them registered the work in the system.
• The right for updating the registered publications is only authorized to the (co-)authors. However, other users can also register the system as "data input agencies" (in 2006).
• After the PDF files of the publications are registered, such information as title and author can be automatically extracted by the analysis processing program.
• Storage and dissemination of the full version of the registered publications must be authorized by all the copyright holders (author/publisher). The authorization from main publishers are currently under confirmation.
• It is available to make the publication lists of researchers with many co-works, which can reduce the data input costs for the co-author.
• It is available to make the list of research projects such as COE and Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research, which allows users connect each of their publications with the relevant research project during data registration.
• System provides automatic bibliography information extraction from PDF analysis.
• System supports the collective input function by CSV files (in 2006)
