Abstract This paper tackles hoverability analyisi of a tiled quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle with only clockwise rotors. First, a dynamical model of a general multirotor UAV is presented and two novel quadrotor structures are next proposed. Then, their hoverability is analyzed. Finally, numerical simulation is used to verify the robustness of the quadrotors against parameter errors.
