Abstract Maintaining learners' interest and motivation is crucial for acquiring learning via online courses Moreover, u nderstanding factors affecting learners’ behavior and perception of the course content will h elp in designing better courses and improving learner satisfaction with the provided courses. Online d ata collected from learners' interaction with Massive Online Open Course s (MOOCs ) content opens up opportunities to study the relationship between differe nt aspects of online course contents and learners' interaction with it In this paper, we analyze learners' interactions with the lecture video s in order to determine how course components influence learner behavior.
