In campus networks, VLANs can be used to logically separate networks. VLAN configuration procedures may vary depending on the environment, such as target devices and network configuration. How- ever, since VLANs themselves are standardized, there are common elements in the VLAN configuration procedures even in different environments. This paper, therefore, attempts to extract common elements of VLAN configuration procedures in different campus networks. We consider the automation of configuration by expressing the configuration procedure in a unified manner, taking into account the common elements and other elements.
