アブストラクト In this paper, the edge-based smoothed extended finite element method (ES-XFEM) is applied to the dynamic fracture analysis of two-dimensional elastic solids. The dynamic stress intensity factor (DSIF) is deduced from J-integral with the train smoothing method. With the deduced DSIF, the implementation of numerical integration and sub-smoothing regions are numerically verified in dynamic fracture behaviors of linear elastic solids. The analysis shows that ES-XFEM is an efficient numerical approach to simulate the dynamic fracture problems.
